Is yawning a sport?

If it is, I have just finished a marathon.  Awake at the ungodly hour of 2:00 a.m. Why you ask?  Old age, too many things running around in my head?  No idea why but I sure hope this stops.

I did manage to get most of my wrapping wrapped up   J

I imagine that by 10:00 I'll be just like Snorlax....

Merry Christmas Eve Eve Everyone.

Strange finding of the day. Don't ask how I came across this one!

You can never get back your lost Toys R Us time

One of the dilemmas of the holiday season is what toys to choose for a child.Whether you need to buy something for a child you don’t see very often or are choosing a gift for a child from one of the many Angel Tree’s around the city, it can be very hard to know what kids are into at any given age. What do 5 year old girls play with? What is the current trend for 10 year old boys?Added to the regular stress of choosing gifts for family and friends, this can send you over the edge.
I spent an hour in Toys R Us on Saturday going through this.I needed toys for a 2 year old boy, 5 year old girl and a 7 year old boy.If money was no object, shopping wouldn’t be a problem but when you are trying to be cost-efficient (my 2017 term for cheap), you can lose an entire day in Toys R Us.You pick something up, put it in your cart and then you find something else that would be better/cheaper/more fun. This can happen many times (I know)! When you have finally gone up and down each aisle twice (because you…

Space - the final frontier

End of the Week Laughs

I hope everyone had a decent week but here it is end of day Friday and I don't know about you but I am ready to check out.  It is our work party tonight but my eyes are just not ready for a party.  I have regaled my co-workers with some of the back-in-the-day party stories.  Certainly an eye opener for some of them.  I did hear that the party two years ago had some fun things going on but we don't have names (damn!).

I doubt that tonight's party will be as "interesting" as the old ones mostly because all of the really fun people have left.

I will go home, put some drops in and rest my weary eyes.  Eye doc says that they aren't doing what they were told to do (yet).  Far/near, near/ it that my eyes are confused or my brain?  Who knows.

And last but certainly not least...

One of the wives who belongs to the "Guy with two wives" neighbour out sweeping their laneway this her crocks.  She also cleaned off the car.  What a good woman…

Not for the Faint of Heart or How Criminal Minds Relates to My Life

Can you believe that December is already here and well on its way?Where does the time go?Seriously, I couldn’t believe that today was the 7th.So much has been going on lately that November is a blur.Planning and holding Steph and Arun’s engagement party was both fun and a very busy time.As those of you who know me can attest, I tend to be my own worst enemy so when I started planning a travel themed party I ended up going off in a bunch of different directions which took planning and time but it was worth it.Great ideas for my next life as a party planner. It was very much standing room only with a lot of “excuse me’s” on my part to get in and out of the kitchen to replenish drinks and food. Everyone had a great time.I still can’t believe that we didn’t break a fire code with so many people gathered in our house at once.Would have been great to have been raided by the fire department.
Sorry, getting carried away.  Actually, not very sorry :) During engagement party planning we also h…
